Which do you want?

Now, I'm watching news on TV.
It is presenting a change of ideas of consumers.
Now, there is not few consumers who want to buy better stuffs though it is little more expensive.

Before, almost all of general consumers tended to buy the cheapest stuffs though it was little worse.

I don't know why.
But I think I gradually tend to buy the first one of the above two more.
Human beings are wonders.

The two most popular robots.

In Japan, there are many animated cartoons which portray robots.
I think robots are longed for by Japanese.

The most popular one in them is, as you know, the Doraemon.
The Doraemon is exactly for children.

In Japan, there are many animated cartoons for adults.
And there are some of them which portray robots.

The Gundam and the Evangelion are I think the most popular in them.

The Gundam is popular in a pretty former generation rather than a younger generation.
The Gudam is liked because it is dandy.
People in a pretty former generation are prefer dandy to showiness.
So the Gundam is liked by them.

On the other hand, the Evangelion shows weakness rather than cool or good looking.
It portrays weakness of people's mind skillfully.
And it is very original.
When you watch it for the first time, You may not understand what it mean.
Because there are too small description to notice.
People in a younger generation sympathize its weakness and enjoy detecting its description as if they solved a riddle.

It expresses a difference between these two generations.

Good points of it is a younger generation's people have been able to accept their weakness by them and notice that all of them have their own weakness naturally.

Bad points is it may get someone not making his effort to defeat his weakness.

Though I expressed my opinion of them, actually I don't like either of two much.(^^;)

Moment that we exactly fall asleep.

is pleasant very much, isn't it?

I think what is the most pleasant when you are in a bed to sleep is not sleeping or lying about idly on a bed, but feeling to be about to fall asleep.

I don't know why dozing away is such a pleasant.

I wonder I'm rather an indoor type than outdoor.

But I want rather to go out to enjoy than to doze in a house now.
Because I spent a whole day studying in university's library today.

The 20th another was under to the exam.

I've gotta get fired up again!!!

Steven Seagal is a too strong fighter.

Now I'm watching a Steven Seagal's movie on TV.
He is too strong, isn't he?
Villains are knocked flat in an instant as if he sweeps the dust off.

And in this movie, woman who appeared and was pretty beautiful was actually just a man!!!
I was really surprised.
And I was disappointed at my eyes.(><)
Uhhhhhh.

Several days ago, a TV program illustrated about a change of an idol's style in Japan.

These days, the idols who is closer to their fans are more popular, while the idols were just objects yearned by their fans before.

According to the program, the fans recently want to feel getting their idols more famous by them.

Mr.Akimoto, who made one of the most popular idol groups "AKB48", used this change successfully and got it more popular.

It is exactly an example of that there must be a chance of success when some changes occur.

Giving up isn't your style.

Today's title is a line of the Full House.
It is really nice, isn't it?

I was really impressed by this line.

There is many nice lines in the Full House.
I will introduce them.

He was raised by a family of really stupid wolves.
”こいつはかなり狂ったオオカミの家族に育てられた(ような奴なんだ)。”

She is history.
”彼女のことは忘れなさい。”

Nobody asked me.
”誰も聞かないんだもん。”

I know exactly how you feel.
”君がどんな思いかはよくわかっている。”

I'm dead meat.
”もうだめだ。”

I move into a place with a washing machine on the exact day I run out of clean clothes.
”きれいな服を使い切ったちょうどその日に洗濯機のある家に来れた。”

etc...

I will introduce other ones some other time.(^^)

What do you think?

Today, I was asked about contents in "The Japan Times".
In it, it was expressed that a number of Japanese students who received natural science doctorates in the United States was much less than other countries such as China, India, South Korea and Taiwan.

I had some opinion and I wanted to tell them.
But I couldn't do because of lack of my vocabulary.
So I will tell it in this blog.

I think many Japanese people are relieved about the present situation which we can get almost all stuffs we want and sure to get knowledge much enough to compete with other countries in Japan.

But this is bad situation.
Because people around the world would think that Japanese students don't have strong will to get knowledge, and they would even thought that Japanese lack ambition.

So we Japanese should consider it.

The fear of the Guerrilla rain.

These days, TV news warns about an unexpected heavy rain.
It is called "Guerrilla rain".
The reason why it is danger is that it is difficult to expect it and it is badly heavy rain.
So a mudslide is often be warned.

But an apartment I live in is located on comparatively level ground.
So I don't have to care about a mudslide.
In spite of it, why I fear it?

Because it spoils my laundries which dried outside the house.
It is fatal for me.

Because my clear under pants already ran out and if my cloths dried outside are spoiled, there is no under pants I wear tomorrow.(><)
If it becomes so, I curse heaven.

Even if I say so, it is too hot and I think my laundries will be dry soon.
As long as it doesn't meat with the Guerrilla rain.
I just believe it.

Korean foods is good.

Today, I went to a Korean restaurant for the first time.
I could get a hot and delicious dinner there.

In Korea, it seems that we can get kimchees for free in a restaurant.
I hope I can go to Korea and have a lunch or dinner in its restaurant.

The test is gradually drawing near.

The biggest test since I entered this university is steadily drawing near with summer.
It is the entrance exam of the graduate school which I often say in my blog.

In my university, because of economizing on electric power, all air conditioners is stopped regularly in a day.
So there is too hot in not only my lab, but also a library of my university.

But I know it cannot be helped.
Because my university has so many computers that it costs too large amount of money as a electricity charge.

But I think there are other ways.
I think there are other costs which can be cut down easier.

How defficult.

I took this picture at about 7 P.M.
Sunset has became later.
I want to go watching fireworks fast.

Today, I had a English class which I can talk with other classmates and my teacher in English.
I think my English listening skill is increasing little by little. But it is more difficult to increase my English speaking skill than I thought.
Though I have memorized some English words, I can't remember them when I want to use them in my talking.
I think output is more difficult than input.
I can't get some words fast when I talk in English, while I can understand them when they appear in a book I read.

But I have to rouse myself into activity.
I know the saying.
"No pain, no gain."

I'll stick it out!

So hard.

Today, I met a too difficult question in the guraduate school's entranse exam questioned before.
I spent about three hours to solve the question.
Do you believe it?
There must be something wrong with my head or the question.
It's unbelievable!(><)

It was so hot that I was dying today too.
The highest temperature in today was about 38 degrees.
It's higher than a human's body temperature.
What's happening to it?

It seems that we Japanese is said whoever takes the Prime Minister, its administration is going well.
I don't think so, but the term of the Prime minister of Japan is very short enough to be considered that these days.

And I think it is the causes of it that the Liberal Democratic Party changed the Prime Minister too many times in just a short period and that the first term of the Democratic Party, which Mr.Hatoyama has taken, was too short, because he couldn't deal with the problem about the Futenma.

Because of it, there is little trust in the Democratic Party as well as the case thet the Liberal Democratic Party dissapointed us by changing the Prime Minister too many times in a short period.

While it is bad for a people, it is just a chance for other politic parties.

And at the same time, I ,and I think many people, expect them.

How's it going?

It was so hot too.
Was it too hot like this in every summer?
I wonder how hot in this summer.(><)

I've wanted to know what phrase I should use when I want to ask someone condition of his work.
And I've gotten the answer.

I should use the phrase "How's your work going?" then.

And today, I've known the phrase "I have to burn the midnight oil."
Do you know the meaning of it?
Because I'm just a English learner, I didn't know.
But I know it now.

It means that I have to stay up late at night to work.
No one but a native speaker can understand it before he has been taught it.

I want to know more phrases like them.(^^)

So hot!

It was too hot today.
I was just dying.(><)

The upper photo is a today's night view from my lab.
It is difficult to take a night view by my camera.
Please forgive it to have moved slightly.

In Japan, there was funny titled dramas.

I knew from a TV show, there was a serious drama titled "A murder in the Otaru which is well known for a Glass work. The true culprit must have a sole on his foot."
(「小樽ガラスの街殺人事件 〜真犯人にはウオノメがある〜」)

Am I kidding?
No!
It's just a real.
It's very funny, isn't it?

I will try to search titles like this.(^^)

Don't be afraid of expressing you.

When I learn speaking English, I'm often told that we have to express us more.
According to my friend who is an Indonesian international student, not only Japanese but also Asian tend not to want to insist their opinion.
And American or Westerner tends to prefer exchanging their opinion.
Moreover, they dislike one who doesn't have his or her opinion.

I think so too.
Because I often accept one's opinion without thinking of it.
It is just my opinion, Japanese may tend to dislike to make their opinion clear and to argue with someone.
For them, not to mention me, it is troublesome.
They may prefer accepting someone's opinion to doing something troublesome like it.
And they may be gradually afraid of expressing them because they don't usually express them very much.

I think we should change our mind if we hope to talk in English.
We should exchange our opinion more.

Oops!

Today, there was a festival at a square in front of a station which is near the building I do a part-time job in.
Because my camera moved slightly, this view may not look very good.
But there was actually a good view.

As a part-time job, I teach students so that they can understand what they learn in their school smoothly.

Today, I've taught for a whole day with hearing a sound of the festival.
Oops!
On such a day that it was such sunny and there was a festival, what did I do in a room which even sunlight couldn't reach?
I was really disappointed by me.

A moment ago, I heard that the smart phone called "IS01" would be put on sale by the KDDI from a cm on TV.

IS01

The KDDI is one of the largest cellphone companies in Japan.

And I've used the KDDI's cellphone.
Actually, I wanted to use the iPhone.
But the iPhone is sold by another cellphone company.
So if I change my cellphone to the iPhone, I have to cancel my current contract which really helps me.
Because of this, I've wanted for the au to put a smart phone on sale since the iPhone was released.

So the news made me happy!

I will check it soon!(^^)

How can we connect?

Today, I had a interesting lesson in my university.
A topic of it was about the Internet.

Do you know how the Internet  connect us?
The Internet different from the Telephone Line.
When we call by phone, we connect a line with a top, and the top connect our line each other. In a word, all lines are converged on the top, and we have to  connect our line with another's through the top.

On the other hand, the Internet has lines which extends as if a cobweb did.
And we can connect our line with a extension of it when we use the Internet.
So the lines are not converged on one place.

To be precise, lines of the Internet are hierarchically converged by providers.
First, providers individually converge end user's lines.
Next, they are converged on a higher provider.
It is just like below.

It continues, and at the end, they are converged on ten highest provider called "tier 1."
They are the largest companies of a provider in the world.
Almost all of them are American's.

Generally, lower providers pay higher providers to connect lines with theirs.
And tier 1 are in habit of not paying each other to connect lines.
So they haven't payed and only gotten money from lowers.
It seems that this system has been criticized by countries which don't have tier 1 .

I think this system is arrogant.
But in fact, lower need them, though lower isn't necessarily needed by them.
It is possible to be enough reasons why they can be such a arrogant.

The countries which have only lower providers have to get sites like the google or the twitter which is strong enough to be needed by tier 1.

You can get more information about this from links below.

Sad story.

It was very sunny today.
And I could watch a great view from my lab as I said in a yesterday's blog.
I can't believe now is the rainy season.

But I heard from news that it has been a severe rainy day in Kyusyu.
I heard that a sediment disaster happened there too.
I hope that damage more than this doesn't occur.

Today, I had my lab's seminar.
In my lab, there is a man who can't talk respectably with anyone but a computer.
Because of my major, there are quite a few people like him in my course.
It is very sad.
I think it might become a interesting drama in TV, if the leading role of the drama were not played by the man like him but like Hiro Mizushima.(^^)
Anyway, I hope he can change him himself some day.

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

Now I'm very busy.
Because, I have to study for an entrance examination of the graduate school in August.
My major is The Information Technology.
So I have to practice writing a programing too.

Actually, I was comparatively weak in writing programing.
But, now I'm more familiar with it than before.
There was a story about this.

Now, I belong to the lab which places a emphasis on writing programing and doesn't do on calculating.
Actually, I wanted to belong to another lab which places a emphasis on calculating, but I couldn't because of my bad grade.
So, to tell the truth, I didn't want to belong to the lab I belong to now.

But, by my belonging to the lab, it was possible for me to become familiar with writing programing, and this proves to be useful in studying writing programing.

This is exact "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade."

I'm sleepy.

I'm just studying now.

But the sunlight prevents me from sleeping.

So I will write today's diary, though it is early for a moment.

My lab is on the 9th floor of the building in a site of my university.

So I can see a good view from my lab.

Though it is good in reality, if it is very sunny like today, it makes me sleepy.

Please tell me what you do to prevent from sleeping.

This is my first blog.

Now I'm starting my blog in English for the first time.
I'm still not good at writing English and I may make mistakes in my blog.
So please read it with your broad mind.(^^;)
And if you find some mistakes, please write it in a comment!

From June, I've studied English harder than before. I wanna tell why.
Because I got a miserable score in Toefl iBT.
It is too difficult, and my English skill was too low.
And it determined me to study harder.
From then, I've watched English movies and dramas.

In them, I especially like "Full House".
As you know, it is an English comedy drama.
And I love Michelle.
She is really cute baby.
Of course, I love others all.
And I especially love Michelle.(^^)
Now I've watched by 8 stories in Season 1.

I wanna watch next soon.
